My calling in the church is in the Activities Committee. This year for our ward Christmas Party we went all out. Sandy, her daughter, Brittney and myself spent about two days inside of the gym decorating and setting up.We also had a ton of ward members and other commitee members come and help. We created an adult only winter wonderland. It was BEAUTIFUL. We had a catered dinner, waitresses (the Young Women), waiters (the Young Men and Young Women), a wonderful family that came to sing for us, and a special guest speaker, President Campbell (aka, DAD..thanks Dad). It was just a fun night for couples to come and enjoy a nice dinner date and program before all the husle and busle of the holiday season began
We had a dance floor that ended up being packed at the end of the night with couples dancing the night away. Anthony and I were one of those couples...it was so nice.
Anthony was appointed Matra De (sp?). Here he is giving all "the help" a last minute run through of the night. He did a great job wrangling in the Young Men and keeping them in line.
Here is our food "staging area" We had a ton of help serving up the food and getting it out to the tables.

I was so sad that we weren't able to make it to the Christmas party. I heard it was great though. You guys have really made each activity special. What talent you have.

I think that i am gonna try something else out for my Christmas cards this year. Thanks SO much for the offer to help. They might end up being 'New Year's' cards... but I am still holding out hope that i will get them done and out!
