We went to Newport beach to help cheer on Saralyn during her marathon and were able to go to the beach for awhile afterwards and play. It was Addison's first time at the beach and she dove right in....literally. Anthony had to run in after her and pull her out of the water. That scared her enough and she hung back with me for the rest of the time playing in the sand.
After about a half hour...every kid was drenched and covered in sand.
SUCCESS.
However, I was unprepared and
they drove home naked.

That is SO funny!! I have so been there. For the beach we always bring a bucket and big jug of fresh water from home to rinse our kids from the "itchy" saltwater and bring a pair of clean jammies for them to ride home in. They always fall asleep on the way home. Also no matter what the weather report says, we always bring swimsuits AND coats. It changes so quick. Miss you guys!
