School Valentine's

A couple of days ago I was taking some pictures of Maya to make invitations for her upcoming birthday party and I was hit by an idea for our class Valentine's this year.
These were SOOOOOOO easy.

I put up a white poster board on our garage door and snapped some pics of Maya and Kai with their arms stretched out and their hands in a fist...

and then through the powers of photoshop I turned them into this...

I sent them to the hour photo at Costco and paid 13 cents each for 4x6 prints. I then slit some holes in the picture at the bottom and top of their fists and slipped in a sucker that I found in the $1 bin at Target.
Here is the finished product.....

...and there you have it.

School Class Valentine's....check!

what a great idea--I might have to steal it! :) I'm not creative, but I can usually copy it. :)

Carrie...you are so creative! Great idea. I just might have to steal that idea next year. (this year's are already bought and done.)

I really do think you are the most creative person on the planet! That is SOOO cute! I'm horrible at anything with cameras and computers, but maybe I can get my hubby's help. That is just too darn cute to pass up!

Care Bear.
U R SO my Hero!
now... you know that you have THREE sisters that are going to be asking you favors!
would a box of snickerdoodles (which is on its way btw; be a good enough bribe?)

absolutley, Jod....even without the bribe (you know that!!!)I only wish I were there to take the pictures for you too.
Just send me the photo and I will "fix it up" in photoshop (that goes for anyone btw)....It seriously took me like 5 minutes to do. SO EASY!!!

Care Bear,
sorry i am being such a pain with the pendants. I seriously have no idea how to do the things you do!

I thought of something too... on that same 4x6, why don't you include some B & W pics too? Just FILL up the whole 4 X 6 with as many 1" square pics you can...
just remember to leave about 1/4 inch boarder around each one...
LOVE YOU TO BITS AND PIECES!
