The Patch

Addie and I were able to go with Kai to his Preschool field trip to the Pumpkin Patch.

I think that Kai thoroughly inspected every last pumpkin in that patch before deciding on this beauty.

Kai takes things like this VERY seriously.

Cristy, Jonah, Kai and Addie....

Addie has just barely learned to say the word, "pun-kin" and gets such a thrill at pointing out every single one, on the streets, in our house, at the grocery store....EVERYWHERE.

So, when we drove up to a sea of bright orange, she nearly blew a gasket...

Addie had a really hard time saying goodbye to her new friend...

The preschoolers recieved an education about potatoes.....

so exciting...

My little Piggies

Piggy Back rides are all the rave at our house right now.

Maya is just thrilled that she is big enough to give Addie and Kai piggy back rides...

mmmmmmmmm. JUST JUICY!

Pumpkin Mania

Al's Garden Center has a 10 pumpkins for 10 bucks deal.
HEAVEN!

{so Nana took us to go see "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3-D....Kai has been wearing the 3-D glasses EVERYWHERE....what a crackup}...

Walk to School

We participated in the international walk to school day this year. I was in charge of picking up a few kids along the way and we all walked to school together.
It was fun.

Very early, but very fun.

our little Cheerleader

Maya has always been a very (how do i put it) loud and bubbly little girl {hmmm, I wonder where she gets that from}

So, when I got a flyer in her backpack announcing a mini cheer camp that the highschool cheerleaders were putting on, I thought this would be perfect for her.

She went to an all day camp last saturday and then on Friday night she was able to go to the highschool football game and do some cheers during half time.

She got really nervous a couple of hours before it was time to go to the game and so we were worried that she wouldn't do it. Then Anthony took her on a little daddy-daughter walk and gave her a little pep talk. When they got back she said that she was going to do it.
We were so prould of her. The bleachers were packed and there were people EVERYWHERE! (I admit...I was even a little terrified)

But she went right out there and performed and cheered her little head off.

Did I mention, WE ARE SO PROUD OF HER!!!

getting her bows put in...

waiting.....
still waiting....

warming up...
It is kind of hard to tell, but Maya is just to the left of the middle highschool cheerleader(the cheerleader's right side)...

Jog-a-thon

Maya ran 9 laps around the high school track at her school's Jog-a-thon!
Almost 2 and a half miles!!!

She rocked it!
Way to go Cha-Cha!

waving to all her fans...

crossing the finish line with her friend Gavin...

replenishing those electrolytes with Rachel...

Preschool Project

Kai's first preschool project was to decorate his bag that he has to take to school every day. Since he loves his ABC's we decided to use fabric to spell his name really big on the bag. He got to pick out the fabric and helped me sew it onto the bag.

What a pro!

Addie and Maya "helping out"...
