Maya started preschool at Mrs. Jackie's and was so excited. She goes 3 days a week this year instead of only 2 days that she did last year. I think it will be good for her, plus Mrs. Jackie sends home "homework" and that just thrills Maya. It makes her feels so old. Not a day goes by that she doesn't ask if she has more homework to do. Since the assignments Mrs. Jackie sends home takes no more than a half an hour, I am on the internet a lot printing out fun things and assignments for her to work on.
Kai was of course so thrilled to be going to Maya's preschool. He wasn't so thrilled however, when he and I turned around and started to walk out the door. I am sure he thought it was just another fun play date with friends. Poor kid, and the worst of was not that he had to leave the fun but that he had to go home to nap time.
