Kai's trauma

This one is for you, Jodi....Kai loves you and misses you so much!

Kai is our little obsessive boy (he gets it from his father). When something poinant or traumatic happens in his short little life, he plays it over and over again in his head and we will usually hear about it when he does. A few months ago on one of our picnics at the provo temple, Kai was running up and down the hills with Maya and Sadie and got a really bad blister on one of his feet from the plastic crock shoes that he was wearing. Anyways, it took a while for the wound to heal and so every time Kai was board or tired, he would point to his wounded foot and say, "I got an owie from da temple." He would tell this to anyone and everyone! His nursery teacher asked me what it was all about and he told a grocery clerk about it once as well. SO when that wound finally healed, he had fell into the foutain pond we have in the back yard. It wasn't full enough to drown in but he was soaked and traumatized! Now, when he is bored or tired, he will say, "I fell in da water pond"
Anyways, Jodi suggested the other day that I need to start video taping his funny comments so that they can be remembered and I thought it was a great idea. We sure do love our "Keizer Bean!"
