Okay so I still need to post some pictures of our new house, however I still need to take some pictures. So, it being Sunday and since we are here at my mom and dad's again, I thought I would blog about something so here are some random pictures from the past couple of weeks or so.
For Father's Day I had Spencer take some pictures of the kids holding letters to spell D-A-D and then I put them in a frame that had a matte for three pictures. It looked so cute and Anthony loved it.
Since Spencer took the pictures for me and Emma was there watching the kids have fun taking pictures, I just had to do one for Spencer of Emma. I am so glad I did. She is such a character!
We took a trip to the Portland Zoo with Nana and Papa.
Maya was so cute. She picked up a zoo map and then opened it up and lead the way.
Kai had fallen asleep in the car and so he slept through the first few minutes of the zoo. Poor kid was so tired.
Kai was so enchanted with his new Orangutan friend. They just stared into each others eyes.
Kai's first try at Cotton Candy. He refused to eat it for the longest time because, I guess it looks kind of scary. Once he saw that we were all enjoying it and it was disappearing fast, he got brave and tried a little bit. Needless to say, pretty much the rest of the Cotton Candy was "inhaled" by Kai.
Addison is such a good baby. We are so lucky! She just stayed in the Bjorn with her daddy the entire time. I think she may have enjoyed the zoo just as much as Maya and Kai.
The kids absolutley love to hang out and play at their Nana and Papa's house.

Hello Everyone! In case you haven't heard we have spent the last week or so moving into our new house...FINALLY and we don't have Internet service yet so that is why my blog has been a bit neglected. But, today we are having dinner at mom and dad's house so I finally have access to my blog. Oh how I have missed blogging and checking in on my blogging friends. Well, I don't have my camera with me so I can't blog any of my photos. Hopefully with in the next couple of days. I love our new home and can't wait to take some pics to show you all.
I did, however, want to share with you a new discovery of mine. Those who know me well know that I have REALLY dry skin. And so, with that I have really nasty cracked heals. I spend far too much time in the shower trying to get my feet look sandal ready. So, I found the PED EGG at Target in their "as seen on T.V." section and tried it this morning...It is a miracle product. My feet have not been so smooth in I can't remember when and I barely had to work at it. Anyways, you know it has to be good for me to share info about my embarrassing feet issues. So all you cracked heal sufferers, try it out. Only $9.99 at Target or I have also seen it at Walgreen's.

Happy Father's Day, Dad!
I REMEMBER......
going on your business trips and learning how to properly eat sunflower seeds.
wrestling in the front room.
holding your hands while running errands.
being carried to bed after falling asleep.
red swimming trunks.
Zippity Do Da.
being so proud at girls camp while you belted out Boom-Chicka-Boom
I love you a bushel and a peck.
trips to the local Thrifty for a single scoop of ice cream.
special dates with dad.
being tucked in at night and getting bounced up and down with, "K-I-S-S-K-I-S-S, KISSES, KISSES, KISSES!'
helping in the yard on Saturday mornings
a tug on the ear from the stands during church.
sneaking in between you and mom at nights after a really bad dream.
rushing to the "bishops" office after church for some candy.
I can remember so many great things about you, Dad. But most of all, I remember knowing that I have the greatest dad in the whole wide world. I am so thrilled and happy to know that my children are growing up with a lot of the same memories with the greatest Papa in the world.
Thanks for all the memories, Dad. Happy Father's Day! I love you!

She's rolling over!
Our amazing little Addie girl rolled over for the first time on Monday. She is growing up so fast. She does not like to be laid on the floor now so she gets frustrated and makes A LOT of noise while she struggles to get on her tummy, and then she gets this wonderfully proud look on her face like, "look, I did it!" She is just so darn cute!
Kai was so cute. When Addison rolled over, I was all excited and telling Addison how good she did and so then Kai walked over and gave her a hug and a kiss and said "You did it Asson, good girl! I am so proud of you!" Sometimes I could literally eat that juicy boy up!

What a MAN!!
Anthony is such an incredible dad. The other day Maya and I decided to do makeovers with eachother (this is one of her favorite things) and I actually blow dried her hair straight too. It is only the second time I have ever done this because she looks so old and it really freaks Anthony and I out. SO, she got to put makeup on me and do my hair and then, of course, I did the same for her. Anyways, we went to go show Anthony how beautiful we looked and Maya said, "hey dadda, how 'bout we do your makeup, too. Please, Please, PLEASE!" And Anthony being the incredible father he is saw how excited she was and said sure. So, she had him lay down on the bed while she did her magic. It was SO cute. I don't think I laughed so hard in a long time. Maya was on cloud 9 and was just eating her dadda up. It takes a real man to lay on the bed and allow his 5 year old daughter to have her way with him and the makeup bag.....Not to mention his wife cracking up in the background and taking pictures of every moment. And then, of course, Kai wanted to see what all the fuss was about and so we gave him a little bit of a makeover too. He loved posing for the camera with the curler in his hair.
Make a Smilebox slideshow |
After Maya was all done, she wanted to show Nana. Of course, Mom started to crack up immediatley. And then she said "OH, you look like the evil step sister bartender from Shrek.......I don't know, what do you all think? Don't worry, Honey....I think you look much more BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

Kai and his ABC's
*push the pause button on my play list to hear the video*
Part of Kai's obsession of the ABC's is his ability...or should I say, his desire to build a word (if any of your kids watch Word World on PBS you will know what that means) Anyways, he will lay out a bunch of his letters in rows and then try and sound them out. Some times he gets freakishly close (Notice the FMILI) he was trying to spell family. Most of the times he will just get a the first letter and maybe a couple of others and just tell us what it says while waving his hand over the word as he "sounds it out". For example...RKPLST magically becomes ROCKET. It really is so very cute!

Sweet Addie Girl
Sometimes while I am holding her, or kissing on her, I just get this strong urge to take a bite. She is irresistible to say the least. She is always so willing to give you a sweet smile......unless you turn the camera on. I swear she knows. The second I turn the camera on to take a picture of her smiling, she suddenly turns all serious and stone faced. No matter how hard I try, or how high pitched my voice gets, she just stares and studies the camera with furrowed brows. She is such a stinker.
With Maya and Kai, it seemed like they just grew up overnight. It makes my heart hurt to remember how the newborn just blended into infant and then quickly melted into toddler and then over night they became a little girl and a little boy. With Adddison she seems to be changing by the minute. There is no magic potion to give them to slow it down. It is almost as if every time I blink she is changing and growing up so fast! And while I love to see her changing and growing, I know what is to come. One day I am just going to pick her up or look into her eyes and realize she is a little girl and has grown up WAY to fast. There is just now way of slowing it down. So, if any one has discovered a magic potion that works, PLEASE let me know and I will come pick it up.....or at least pay for the postage!
because you can never have enough of a babies first giggles.....here is some more:
